The programme strengthening reconciliation processes in sri lanka (srp) is jointly funded by the european union (eu) as well as the german foreign office, and implemented by deutsche gesellschaft für internationale zusammenarbeit (giz) gmbh and the british council in partnership with the state ministry for national unity and coexistence. It is a four-year programme aiming to strengthen sri lanka’s reconciliation process by supporting government, non-government, and grassroot initiatives.

as such our task was to create a definitive logo that would encompass and capture the culture, traditions and values of the people who inhabit sri lanka. The logo is a coalition of the cultures and the symmetry represents all peoples working together equally. The colours reflect the vibrancy and beauty that each ethnicity brings to the world.
